As the lead designer, I developed the brand guidelines, built Figma component libraries, and managed cross-channel design initiatives. My responsibilities included site design, packaging, emails, and ads, with a focus on brand strategy, typography, illustration, and motion graphics.

I translated brand principles into strategic design frameworks for product launches, sales, and other cross-channel content, ensuring consistency and impact. I continually explored ways to evolve and push the boundaries of the brand while staying true to the Misen ethos. Additionally, I optimized our design approach based on performance marketing insights to maximize effectiveness and engagement.

emails

Emails are a powerful tool for driving product launches, amplifying brand storytelling, and fostering meaningful engagement with customers. As a key component of Misen’s marketing strategy, I approached email design as an opportunity to not only inform but also delight and captivate our audience.

I infused each email with personality, leveraging dynamic layouts, thoughtful typography, and strategic animation to create visually compelling and interactive experiences. By incorporating motion graphics and engaging design elements, I ensured emails stood out in crowded inboxes, reinforced the brand’s voice, and encouraged higher open and click-through rates.

This approach allowed Misen to connect with its audience on a deeper level, transforming emails from mere transactional messages into memorable brand touchpoints that resonated with customers and drove measurable results.

Motion Graphics

The following motion graphics were created for an Instagram Story takeover, where I leveraged animation to elevate the brand's presence and engagement on social media. Motion graphics are a key area of interest for me, and I believe their purposeful use adds a dynamic layer to the brand’s identity, enhancing its storytelling and making it more memorable for the audience.

By incorporating motion, I was able to infuse energy and excitement into the content, creating a more immersive experience that captured attention and reinforced the brand’s playful yet polished aesthetic. I view motion graphics as a powerful tool in marketing, allowing us to communicate more effectively, engage customers, and differentiate Misen in a competitive digital landscape.

 
 

Creative concept/ art direction

One of my key strengths is collaborating across teams to bring creative ideas to life. In this particular instance, I conceptualized an ad campaign and worked closely with our video, copy, and editing teams to bring the idea to fruition. This process involved storyboarding the concept, casting the right talent, overseeing the shoot, and then coordinating the editing of multiple variations to optimize performance across different platforms.

By collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, we ensured that every element of the ad—from the visual direction to the messaging—was aligned with our brand objectives and marketing goals. For me as a designer, this was a motivating challenge. Continuously evolving the visual approach ensured that we maintained customer interest and stayed ahead of market trends, while staying true to the brand’s identity. By balancing innovation with consistency, I helped create ads that not only captured attention but also contributed to Misen's long-term success and brand recognition.
